To me, a visual outlet for expression has always been a necessity. An image can communicate ideas that are difficult to put in words; a photography can freeze time just when we want it to last. It is also a medium that puzzles me. Imagery appeal differently to people and some images just seem to hold a stronger foundation for appreciation than others for reasons difficult to explain. Whether it be graphic design, photography, or both, I usually see a pattern in the visuals that come out. As if there was some sort of abstract filter that etches its recipe to all end-results. It could be a specific color combination, a certain depth or a symmetric concept - a trademark of visual identity. Do you see it too?
